Horses

“Your horses are always so beautiful.”

“I take special care of them.  Their health and well being may directly impact mine after all.”

“True.  What is your secret?”

“If I told you, it would no longer be a secret,” he answered with a wink.

Xanthos’ Manger

These items are made of fine wood and held together with wooden pegs, inlaid on the exterior is a scene of horses emerging from the sea foam in a variety of woods.

The manger fills with grains and grasses every morning at dawn, enough for two horses to eat their fill.  The horses who feed only from the manger will be healed of 2d8+3 points of damage, the fatigued or exhausted condition will be removed and they will gain a +2 sacred bonus on all attribute and skill tests and all saves for the next twelve hours.

Any other creature who eats from the food of the manger will find it a filling meal, nothing more
