Voddick worked the fleshless skull off his sword. “I had fighting animates.”
“I would rather fight clean bones that walking corpses,” said Gollaon, crushing the bones of the spine with the heel of his boot.
“Truth,” agreed Voddick. “Still, why must people keep dragging the bodies of the dead back to trouble the living?”
“Eh,” shrugged Gollaon, “cheaper than paying new help?”
