Tuesday Magic Item – Housekeeper Rosewind’s Magical Maid of All Work

7 March, 2012

From an Advertising Broadsheet in Old Landarium Town-

Independent Gentlewomen, and Bachelors of means, have you no time to hire and vet new servants?   But you must keep your house and rooms in order.  What to do?

Worry not for the finest of the household wizardresses has addressed your problem:

Housekeeper Rosewind’s Magical Maid of All Work

Is the very magical device you have been seeking!  It will clean all the rooms in your home with the simplest of instructions.  Able to wash dishes and fold clothes with equal skill.  You will be amazed how you even got by without the Magical Maid.  Ask for it by name!  Available at the finest house-ware shops across the City.

Housekeeper Rosewind’s Magical Maid of All Work

These items are made of a seemingly complex set of brass hooks and stands holding dusters, cloths, broom and dustpan, mop and bucket and other cleaning supplies.  The carrying handle is emblazoned with Rosewind’s mark.

Placed in a room and given clear and simple instructions about what to clean, the appropriate cleaning tools will animate and set to work.  They will work until done and then return to their resting place.  Then it can be moved to a new room and set a new task.  It can work for up to three hours a day.

The magics of the maid keep it and its tools clean, polished and repaired.
