Review – Threat Report 39: Eris

23 October, 2011

Eris, goddess of discord, has plans to plunge the world into chaos . . . and to benefit from it.  She is an excellent behinds the scenes villainess to bedevil your heroes with.

Threat Report #39: Eris is a 5-page PDF (3-pages if you remove the cover letter and OGL page) for the Mutants & Masterminds (3rd Edition) RPG written by Stephen Kenson and published by Green Ronin Publishing.  This is part of Green Ronin’s Threat Report line for M&M (3rd).

After a prop cover letter from AEGIS, possibly useful.  The layout is primary traditional two columns and the easily readable.  The only art is a full color illustration of the goddess herself.  Additional a HeroLab file for Eris is also included.

Eris is a fully developed PL 15 character (as befits a minor goddess of the Olympian pantheon) with a complete agenda for villainy.  Four plot hooks are provided to spur adventures with Eris as the villain, usually behind the scenes, pulling strings and whispering in the right ears.

  1. Hey! Thought I’d let you guys know I set up an SRD site for Mutants and Masterminds #3E at http://www.d20herosrd.com.
The goal is to host community resources for MnM and to help promote growth in the MnM product category like d20pfsrd.com does for Pathfinder. Anyway, love to hear comments pro or con so check it out and let me know! Oh, its not 100% complete but its probably 90% or so at this moment.
