Wishing all a Happy Solstice!  Here are some winter-themed feats for your use:

Aspirant of Winter [Fey-touched, Winter]

You have been seeking or have been touched by the Court of Winter, giving you the cold strength of winter and a strong ties to the snow shrouded.  You are armored by your season.

Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to saves against diseases and poisons.  Your perception and stealth checks gain a bonus of +2 in any area that is primarily composed of ice or snow and you gain a +2 bonus to survival checks to get along in the wild.  Extreme cold never prevents you from healing or sleeping.

During the Winter Season you gain 1 extra hit point per three levels/hit dice you possess.

  1. I like these feats, primarily because they link the character’s abilities to what is going on in the setting and situation around him. It’s a little extra reason to keep track of the season, the weather, holy days in the setting, and so on – when otherwise, the RAW give no reason whatsoever to do so for the most part.

    • Thank you. Anything which helps the player envision the campaign world and the character’s place in it is a positive thing.
