New Monster – Armling

21 June, 2010

Armling

These bizarre creatures seem to be just arms, yet they can fly by moving with an undulating motion.  They seek out humanoid whom they seem to have a particular hatred for.  How exactly they eat, or sense for that matter, is not understood but they are dangerous.

Knowledge (Dungeoneering) DC 25.  These creatures attack and kill humanoid to create more of their kind.

TACTICS
Before Combat: Armlings gather into a group so that they can rush together and attack en mass.  They use their stealth and flight to gather unseen if possible.

During Combat: They swarm the nearest target, once that target is grappled by two (or more) armlings, they move onto the next target.

Morale: Against humanoids, they will attack until destroyed seeking to reproduce.
