Into October, leaving September behind

1 October, 2012

October begins today, the eighth month of the Roman Calendar and tenth of ours.  It seems the Romans had no special association for October beyond Autumn, but we have Halloween at the end, so this month the Sea of Stars Design Journal will have Monsters as our theme as has become traditional for October.  I am also hoping to participate in this Month’s Horrible Blog Carnival

If you have ideas for Monsters or horror theme you wish to discuss, let me know (here or in the sadly neglected forums) and I will try to make it happen.

September saw the following posts on the journal:

Playing in Other People’s Worlds, some of my thoughts and experiences.

Pondering Alignment, in the D&D/Pathfinder sense, because every gaming blog has to talk about it at least once, right?

Trip to Alexandria, VA, and Washington, DC: Part I and Part II

New Magic Items

Harrenvold’s Slavecatcher, an evil weapon for an evil profession.
