New Magic Item – Curse Stone
February 8, 2011The sorcerer rubbed the oily stones between his thumb and forefinger as he pondered his revenge on those cursed heroes who had again twarted his plans. Using such items carried risks, but to extract his vengeance, it was worth it. His voice began to rise in the wicked chanted needed to enact the curse. Soon they would be cursed heroes in truth.
Curse Stone
These pebble-sized dark gray stones are often veined with black or dark green. They are cool and slick to the touch and induce a sense of unease in those who handle them.
Each stone contains a spark of evil, if shattered when casting a curse, it adds 1d4 to the DC to resist the curse. Touching such evil is not without risk, the user must make a Will save of 10 + the level of the curse + the victim’s Charisma modifier or be struck with an affliction (rash, warts or other disfiguring physical affliction) for 1d4 weeks.

Interesting. So there does all this evil come from to infuse in the stone? Can it be generated in some process? Or siphoned from dying creatures? Hmmmm…
