Review – Demon Hunter

The Demon Hunter class provides a wuxia spin on combating evil, mixing martial skill with specialized and focused monster hunting abilities.  While it is -as written- very culturally specific class, it should be easily possible to adapt to most settings.  If your world has a place for wandering Demon Hunters, give this product a look.

Review – The Windup Girl (novel)

The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi is a science fiction novel set in a dystopian (and near post-apocalyptic) future.  The world is in meltdown from global warning, the calorie-companies (agri-business megacorps) have released bio-engineered blights and tailored bioweapons to destroy rival crops, there is no more petroleum, it is the age of contraction.
